4/1/25 - On April 17th, we will hold an in-class tournament. This will allow students to get a feel for what a tournament would be like. Practice your kata and make sure you bring your mouthguard. 

End of Semester Grading will be May 22nd. Be practicing at home.

For anyone wanting additional training online classes are available. Go to the Shintani Wado Kai Karate Federation page. Scroll down to the bottom where they list online classes. Reach out to the instructor listed to make sure they are having class, what time zone they are in, and if there are any age or rank restrictions.

2/1/25 - The deadline for payment of registration and equipment orders is February 13th. Please contact Sensei Joanne if you need to make payment arrangements. If you haven't already registered please do so. You can also order uniforms and equipment when you register. You can register at https://rogersfirst.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/2613834 or through the registration button on the website. Use discount code SWKKFPD if you registered last semester and paid the SWKKF Membership fee. You do not need to fill the liability waiver out again if you have already completed it in the past year.

1/8/25 - Hello everyone! I'm excited to see everyone in class tomorrow, January 8th. I know there is some possible weather, but at this time we are still planning to have class. If that does change I will email everyone and post on the Facebook group. See you soon.
